There is only one television show worthy of my Favorites List:
There are many interpretations of this highly allegorical series. Most people say it's an essay on personal freedom in the Information Age or some such. I believe that it's also a novel about introspection, with Rover being the suffocating white void of the unknowable.
In a way, all interpretations are true. The Prisoner is a wonderful example of that quality I love so much in art: it's a Rorshach Test, and the themes people extract from it are often more applicable to the viewer than the viewed.
